In November, Cambridge-Somerville for Change asked our members to select our campaigns for the coming year. overwhelmingly to work on both the Presidential and US Senate campaigns and to endorse Barack Obama for President and Elizabeth Warren for US Senate. The votes were overwhelming.

Meeting with Senator Kerry's Staff to Advocate for Economic Fairness

On Friday, October 28, 2011, members of the Cambridge-Somerville for Change Economic Fairness team met with Senator John Kerry’s Boston policy advisors, Meghan Leahy and Stephen Meunier, in Kerry’s Boston office.

CSfC members discussed Sen. Kerrys role in the Congressional Deficit Super Committee. Sen. Kerry is one of the twelve legislators assigned to the Deficit Super Committee, whose task is to reduce the federal deficit by $1.2 trillion over the next ten years.

CSfC Economic Fairness Team and the Rebuild the Dream Campaign

Cambridge City Council Forum on Energy & Environmental Issues - Wednesday, Nov. 2nd at 6:30 PM
Green Cambridge, formerly known as Green Decade/Cambridge, is again organizing an Energy and Environmental Issues Candidate's Night for this year's city council race.  Cambridge Somerville for Change is a co-sponsor of this event, which will take place on November 2nd at 6:30 pm at the YMCA Theatre in Central Square.  Please join us to learn more about the positions each of the candidates is taking on these important issues.
