Thank You and December 8th Celebration

We want to thank you all, belatedly, for everything you did to get out the vote in in the final weeks of this election. You knocked on doors, and then knocked on more doors. You hung door-hangers in the cold and dark the night before the election. And on Election Day you knocked on doors some more. It was this kind of extraordinary effort that helped make Massachusetts go a different direction from the rest of the country.

Now it's time to celebrate our hard work and our success, and to talk about what comes next.

Please join Cambridge-Somerville for Change on Wednesday, December 8th for a post-election celebration, 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Precinct, 70 Union Square, Somerville.

Sign up for the celebration here.

Cambridge-Somerville for Change is an all-volunteer community group dedicated to harnessing the grassroots energy and spirit of change inspired by the Obama campaign. Our organizing work includes electoral and issue-based campaigns at the local, state, and national level. Our members have chosen to work on promoting economic fairness, comprehensive health care reform, creating policies that conserve energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, provide for fair and adequate access to public transportation, and promoting in-state tuition for immigrant youth.

This is an organization built by and for you, the community, and we look forward to your participation and feedback. If you have questions, comments, or suggestions about getting involved, please email
or call us at
